Recent news stories by CNN and MSNBC state that Al Qaida has began probing schools, especially school buses in the United States. This poses special concerns for parents, educators and school administrators. The attack in Mumbai India shows that commando attacks can result in devastating results. Crisis preparedness is more than just planning for a school shooting. Crisis preparedness is an all encompassing program that works to mitigate all threats to a school

Did you know that over 74 Million Americans are in schools on any given day? So why American schools are still lacking in procedures and training in dealing with acts of terrorism against their students.

After September 11, 2001 and the War on Terror began the Central Intelligence Agency recovered Al-Qaida training videotapes that showed terrorists planning and training to attack "Soft Targets". These "Soft Targets" included schools, day care centers, offices and residences. Don't be caught unprepared. Crisis Preparedness in Schools goes beyond the worries since September 11. It also addresses issues of threat assessment, crime prevention through environmental design, security procedures, bus safety and security, transportation concerns, field trip issues, active shooter situation, disruptive parents and sex offender concerns.

This program is designed for schools resource officer’s, administrators and school security personnel to train their crisis teams and emergency response personnel in preparing for all catastrophic act of terrorism.
