G.A.T.E. Instructor Certification

If you are interested in becoming a certified instructor in the G.A.T.E. Curriculum please read on. We are very proud to be able to now offer this training to non-law enforcement personnel. It is our belief that this program is important to reaching out to America's young. GATE America Inc. will allow certification by non-law enforcement personnel if they meet specific criteria laid out by our advisory board. The Gate Certification course is a 40-hour course which will certify attendees to teach the Gang Awareness Training Education Program. The G.A.T.E. curriculum goes beyond just gang prevention curriculum. It is a full comprehensive drug, gang and violence prevention curriculum backed with research and measurable outcomes and outstanding results. Instructors receive complete in all three lesson plans from elementary school through high school. This is an outstanding opportunity to bring a great prevention/intervention program into your community.

Instructor Certification Training is held regularly in the Chicago land area. If you would like to have a GATE trainer come to your location please contact us for information or via telephone at 630-398-4811 to begin scheduling your training sessions.

Qualifications for Instructor Certification
You must either be a law enforcement officer who works in a school setting, school staff member who works with at-risk youth, social worker, or at-risk outreach worker. If you are not sure if you fall under one of these categories, please contact us to clarify.
